Before You Move From One Relationship to Another

A relationship ending can be extremely painful but it doesn’t have to be the end of your story.

Don’t be in a hurry to rush into another relationship. Instead, take time to heal your heart and mind from the experience. Give yourself the space you need to process what’s happened and sort through any issues.

You can go through an array of emotions and feelings when a relationship ends, ones that if you’re not intentional about in your healing process can prevent you from moving forward beyond the pain.

Detox from any negative emotions. Choose not to harbor emotions that will keep you in an unhealthy place and compromise your well-being.

Work to let go of the disappointments and grow from the experience.

Don’t let the pain of your past hold you hostage.

When you choose not to deal with your emotional wounds, the issues you’ve been avoiding will continue to resurface as you move from relationship to relationship. Address what needs to be addressed in your life so that you can show up abundantly in the relationship that is truly meant for you.

As you attend to your well-being and making self-care a priority for yourself, know that God is close to you in your brokenness and has so much more in store for you. Dare to believe, He is working everything including your past disappointments together for your good.

Your journey to wholeness is a process. If you’re having difficulty moving beyond your painful experiences, send us a message and let us know how we can support you in your healing journey.

God bless you!
